Culture Trend started life back in 2014 as a physical homeware and accessories boutique on Hermitage Road in Hitchin, Hertfordshire under the name of Hermitage Rd & Co, a shared venture between my business partner at the time, Ellene Nye, and me. It was the natural outcome of our lifelong love of interiors and creativity. We created a shopping experience in combination with the Hermitage Road Coffee and Bagel Bar – somewhere you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat while surrounded by beautiful things for your home and quirky gift ideas!
Ellene is now a proud mum and an amazing interior designer and stylist. Check out her creative work at www.stylenvy.co.uk. I run the business with a small team of creative personalities. My lovely husband and my beautiful poodle helps with the fetching and carrying!
I continually source exciting new products at trade shows, through my travels and by working directly with independents. Every item is chosen with love and are pieces I would have in my own home. My personal style is best described as eclectic, and at Culture Trend you will find Scandinavian influences, vintage vibes, mid-century modern, rustic, urban, industrial and more. Whatever the design influence, you’ll find inspiration for your interiors and gorgeous, must-have items.
